Gov. John Kasich has signed an executive order to help foodbanks. Gov. Kasich signed the order Tuesday. The executive order authorizes the expenditure of $1.5 million in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families(TANF) funds. The Governor's Office of Faith Based Initiatives will use the funds to assist the Ohio Association of Foodbanks and increase the amounts of food for at-risk children in the summer months. |
