Ryan Tanner has hired attorney Adam Stone whose practice is based in Bucyrus to defend him against the pending felony criminal charges. Tanner, a Gailon High School social studies and Career Based Intervention teacher has been arrested for allegedly having an inappropriate sexual relationship with an underage student. Attorney Stone sent a press release to WMFD in response to the arrest of his client. "“My client vehemently denies any wrongdoing associated with these charges,” “He has been an outstanding teacher, administrator, coach and volunteer in the Galion community for several years. The mere implication of any impropriety of this nature is simply preposterous,”Stone said. “The effect that these allegations have had on my client and his family, including his own children, have been nothing short of catastrophic and devastating, and I ask that you all respect the family’s privacy as this matter proceeds properly through the court system.” Attorney Stone said. Tanner was arrested Monday on a sexual battery warrant and is being held without bail in the Crawford County Jail. |
