Richland County Children Services has been re-accredited by the Council on Accreditation.

The agency was accredited in 2000 and has been re-accredited every four years.

The agency successful met 126 standards to maintain its accreditation. The Council on Accreditation recommended no corrective action.
 

The accreditation process consists of four steps, the application, self-study of the agency, a site visit of the agency and an accreditation report that is reviewed by a commission.
