Twenty-nine swimmers and five divers will compete this weekend at Malabar Pool. The boys are coming off a successful season which saw a rise in the number of swimmers. They barely lost the OCC crown by 20 points. What they lack in numbers on the girls side, they make up for in quality with three returning state qualifiers from the 2012 meet. This week's practice sessions at the Friendly House center around the process of tapering. Hannah Stevens and brother and sister, Derek and Hailee Sautter, are hoping to make a return trip to C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton. Seniors, Aaron Bukhart and Kate Cropp are also hoping to end their high school careers on a high note.
