The 2013 Rehab Telethon, brought to you live at the Richland Mall each year by WMFD TV, proved to be another rousing success this past weekend.

For the second straight year, more than $83,000 was raised from the event, which supports the many services provided by the Rehab Center in Mansfield.

Top-flight entertainment is a part of the telethon each year with bands, singing groups and dance troupes taking center stage and clowns and other sideline entertainment also delighting children and adults alike.

Telethon committee co-chairman, Jeff Urban, says it's simple why the telethon has been so successful for the past 22 years.

More than 300 volunteers take part in the telethon each year which has raised more than $1.7-million for the Rehab Center since it began on WMFD in 1992.
