The deadline is March 1 for nominations for the Ashland City Schools Alumni Foundation's 2013 Distinguished Alumnus Award.

Applications are available at the Ashland Schools Central District Office at 416 Arthur Street.

Information for a candidate should include the nominee's specific accomplishment, focusing on significant and noteworthy achievements since his or her graduation.

Those selected will join 32 inductees since the award was first established in 2002 by the late R. Lee Shafer, founder of the Ashland City Schools Alumni Foundation.
