The president of the Ohio Black Republican Association (OBRA), Brenda Mack,  presented her message "Restoring Ohio," to the Mansfield North Central Ohio Tea Party Association Monday night at the Wyandotte Senior Center in Mansfield.

Mack, a motivational speaker and  entrepreneur, is considered to be one of the area's leading business women.

Mack talked about what the community can do to improve Ohio and make difference in our government.

"I think one of the key things we can do is start with the leadership in our communities which in my opinion starts with the pastors who have a captive audience," Mack said.

"If we can get them to understand the importance of addressing issues from the pulpit I think we'll start to see a difference. I feel pastors don't realize the role they play and how important they are in the decisions of our government," Mack said.

The Ohio Black Republicans Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the recruitment and education of African Americans in the ideals and principles by the Republican Party.
