The Richland County Commissioners opened bids Tuesday for a new cleaning contract.

Central Services Director Cathy Mosier says the contract covers cleaning of twelve county buildings.

She says the bids are complicated and will take time to sort through.

The current contract is held by one of the four bidders, Mansfield Maintenance of Ontario.

The new agreement would be for one year with two one-year renewals, and take effect April first.
