A Valentine's Day clothing giveaway is being held at the Ocie Hill Neighborhood Center at 445 Bowman Street in Mansfield.

The Ohio Family Foundation and Peoples Ministries Love Event will run from 12:30 to 4:30 Thursday afternoon in the Community Room on the lower floor of the Ocie Hill Center.

Nearly 300 items of clothing donated by several retail stores will be given away to children attending school at Ocie Hill.

The items include shirts, pants, and dresses.  There will also be food and candy.

Family Foundation CEO Beverly Williams says many of the students do need new clothing, as well as a sign they're loved and appreciated.

The clothing giveaway had been scheduled for around Christmas, but was postponed due to a heavy snowfall.
