The Bucyrus Rotary Club held its annual Pancake Day Community Benefit Breakfast this past weekend at Bucyrus High School.

Co-chairwoman of the popular event, Tami Tima, says proceeds from the fundraiser benefits the Bucyrus community.

Tima says area vocal groups provide entertainment during the breakfast and a number of volunteers help make the event a success.

Tima says they raised $6,000 during last year's pancake day and she hoped to up the ante this year, setting a goal of $6,500.
