 The Renaissance Theatre on Sunday presented Gold Dragon Acrobats from China, Cirque Ziva.

The premiere Chinese acrobatic touring company features 24 performers and exciting performances choreographed by Angela Chang.

The group's founder, producer and artistic director, Danny Chang, is one of the world's leading promoters of Chinese acrobatics. 

Cirque Ziva was created in 2011 by APPI in coordination with renowned lighting director Tony Tucci.

The Golden Dragon Acrobats have toured the U.S. since 1978. It's members include athletes, actors and artists who have studied and trained their craft since early childhood.
 

The group averages 200 performances each year and has toured all 50 states and in over 65 countries across the world.

In 2005, their Broadway debut and seven-week run at the New Victory Theatre earned two prestigious New York Drama Awards nominations for Best Choreogrpahy and Most Unique Theatrical Experience.
