Four representatives from American Municipal Power of Ohio or AMP Ohio, met Tuesday night with members of Galion City Council's, planning, zoning and utilities committee.

Committee chairman Tom Fellner says the primary focus was to have AMP Ohio explain the bill Galion receives from them for supplying their electrical power.

Fellner says AMP Ohio provided a wealth of information and credited them for that.

Fellner says what the city needs to do is better prepare itself for the future as wind and solar facilities come on board to try and get more of its power from those renewable resources for the long-term.
