It's the best showing for the Rams since 2008, when they won the Divison I sectional title. That season ten wrestlers made it to the district tournament. This weekend, two seniors, and surprisngly, five underclassmen have qualified. Coach Doug Mosier credits their hard work coupled with paying attention to the coaching staff for this season's success. A ramped up weight lifting program has helped in the off season as well. Trae Coopwood, Zane Speelman, Darin Cox, John Scheurer and Mike Holzworth will be making the trip to Bowling Green. Senior, Chaz Price, will give it one last shot and knows what to expect from some of his likely opponents. For sophomore Alize Merrell, he will have big shoes to fill. His father, LaConte, was a state champion from St. Peter's in 1992.
