New And Retiring NC State Presidents Visit Commissioners

The new president of North-Central State College introduced himself Thursday to the Richland County Commissioners. Doctor Dory Diab comes to Mansfield after working for seventeen years at Stark State College in Canton, also a technical school. He says N-C State holds an important position in local workforce development efforts. Diab started his new job on Monday, replacing Don Plotts who retired after five years as N-C State President. The commissioners gave him a lengthy proclamation outlining his countless accomplishments and contributions. The proclamation also designated Thursday as Donald Plotts Day in Richland County. |
