The 17-4 and 12-0 Ontario boys basketball team will try to finish the regular season with a nine game winning streak when they hit the road at 0-18 Lucas Friday evening.  On paper, it really does not look like much of a ballgame.  But for coach Joe Balogh who's team has a chance to run the table in their final season in the North Central Conference it's anything but.  Balogh says the game will be Ontario vs Ontario at Lucas and he expects his team to give it all they have as if this game had the NCC championship riding on it.

Should the Warriors win, it will be the first time since 2006-'07 that Ontario finishes undefeated in NCC play.  Next season the Warriors become members of the Northern Ohio League after 20+ years as a member of the NCC.  In that time the team has won outright or shared 14 conference titles.

After Friday's game at Lucas, Ontario will open Division III tournament play at Lexington against Crestview, a team they beat earlier in the season 77-48 back on December 4th.  Should they win, Ontario will face NCC foe Bucyrus for the third time this year next Friday at Lexington at 6:15pm.  The Warriors won both by scores of 71-41 and 49-37.  Ontario will enter tournament play as the top seed at Lexington.
