Four new Mansfield firefighters have been sworn-in and are starting training.

Andrew Walker, Christopher Ransom, Samuel Stahlke, and Nathan Warmath say they look forward to their public service careers.

The new recruits spent Thursday getting acquainted with the fire trucks, and their responsibilities in the day room at lunch time.

They soon go the state's fire academy for seven weeks of intensive training.

These four new firefighters, along with eleven others hired in December, have their salaries covered by a two-year grant.
