Here's an update to a story about a puppy we reported earlier this week.

Lou Anne Michel of Mansfield has eleven-week-old Collie mix Shilo in foster care for an animal rescue group.

Michel says the group told her to have the male puppy neutered now, or return him.

She refused, saying he was too young for the surgical procedure.

Now Michel says the group agrees to wait until Shilo is at least five months old.
