The Mansfield, Ontario, Richland County Health Department and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources sponsored the annual Winter Hike For Health this past weekend at Malabar Farm State Park.

Health Educator Dana Eichelberger says hikers had the opportunity to take a self-guided tour on the trails as a way to encourage a safe form of exercise in the state park.

Eichelberger says the hike is enjoyable for both young and old alike.

Refreshments in the form of chili, hot chocolate and fruits were available for all participants.
