5K Run/Walk Raises Money For Lexington Music Boosters

Avid runners and walkers of all ages also take part in the 5-K Mardi Gras Run Walk in Lexington.

More than 200 people were on hand Sunday at Western Elementary School for the event which benefits the Lexington Music Boosters.

The race kicked off in grand style with Lexington Mayor Eugene Parkinson as the Master of Ceremonies and performances by the Lexington Jazz Band and Fire and Ice Show Choir.
