Madison Township Fire Chief Chris Niswander Resigns

Madison Township Fire Chief Chris Niswander is resigning from his position.

The Madison Township Trustees accepted Niswander's resignation at a special meeting Tuesday.

In his letter of resignation, Niswander said he will be leaving on March 15 to take a position in the private sector.
 

Niswander has served the Madison Township Fire Department since 1994. He became a full time firefighter in 2001 and has been the chief since 2006.
