The top seed in the Division III Lexington Sectional took care of business in a big way Tuesday night, as Ontario made light work of a young Crestview squad in their semi-final matchup, downing the Cougars 70-26.

The Warriors took total control from the opening tip, taking the lead on their first posession and never looked back. Ontario held a 21-7 advantage after the first quarter and led by 30 at the break, with the score at 41-11. Crestview managed just 4 points in the second quarter and did not score for nearly seven minutes in the frame. Cameron Mack continued his dominant play for the Warriors with 11 first half points and 4 rebounds, while teammates Wyatt Clemens added 10, Tyler Boatwright 7 and Blake Balogh 6.

The Ontario starters played limited minutes in the second half with the team blowing open a 55-17 margin after three quarters of action and the deep Warriors bench closed out the game in the fourth quarter. Crestview managed just four field goals in the second half, getting outscored 29-15, as Ontario cruises through to the secional final with a dominating 44-point victory.

The Warriors finished 28-60 (47%) from the floor, connecting on 7-20 (35%) attempts from downtown. The Cougars ended the game 9-40 (23%), shooting 3-11 (27%) from beyond the arc. Crestview was outrebounded 43-23 and also lost the turnover battle 19-10.

Clemens finished with 15 pts to lead all scorers, Mack played just four minutes in the second half ending with 11, Connor Sheppard posted 10 pts in just 11 minutes of action for Ontario and Lenell Shelby filled it up with 6 pts, 5 rb and 5 ast.

Sawyer Radcliffe was the top scorer for Crestview with 9 pts, Bryce Lutz added 6, Keagan Graybeal 3. The loss ends the Cougars season at 7-14, but they will lose just one senior to graduation.

The win is the 10th straight for the Warriors who are now 19-4 overall. They will play Bucyrus in the sectional championship game at 6:15 Friday evening at Lexington High School. The game can be listened to LIVE on WMFD.com or seen on WOHZ TV Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m.
