Lex Wins Second Straight Sectional

The Lexington Minutemen won their second consecutive sectional title by downing Upper Sandusky 55-39 in the Division II sectional final at Bucyrus.  Lexington put two players in double digit scoring with Mason Willeke getting 19 points followed by Logan Bastin with 15, Trent Richwine dropped in seven.

For Upper Sandusky, Joe Riley was the game's leading scorer with 20 points followed by Stuart Young with eight, Trent Howard with seven.  The loss ends the Rams basketball season at 13-11, while Lexington improves to 16-7 and will move on to the the Division II district semifinal at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio next Wednesday at 8pm.
