Buckeye Central Ends Spartans Season

The Buckeye Central Bucks moved on to the Division IV district semifinal as they downed Mansfield St.Peter's ending the Spartans season at 16-8. The Bucks showed balance on offense with four players in double figures. Cade Kaple scored 15, both Brtce Christy and Stone Wurm had 13 and Grant Loy 10. Sparty was led by Joseph Rall with 15, Will Rhodes had 11 and Cole Phillips nine. The win pushes 15-8 Buckeye Central into the D-4 district semifinal against Plymouth at Willard on Tuesday at 8pm. The Big Red was a 48-39 winner over Monroeville in their sectional final at Norwalk. |
