The Wynford girls basketball team punched their ticket to the Division III regional semifinal at Lexington Wednesday by ending Ontario's season by a final of 53-36, in the D-3 district final at Buckeye Central.  The Royals put eight players in the score book.  Leading the way were Meghan Harrer and Paige Brady each scoring 12 points, Brenna Quinn had 10, while three other Wynford players each had five Shannon Miller, Ellie Richmond and Mandy Lilly. 

For Ontario, Emily Wood scored nine, Jayde Niss and Maribeth Tagg had seven.  The loss ends the Warriors season at 12-12, while Wynford improves to 18-6 and will play Columbus Africentric Wednesday at 7pm at Lexington in the Division III regional semifinal.  The Nubians crushed Marion Pleasant in their district final 81-49.
