Normal visitation has resumed at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland.

The hospital had temporarily limited visitors to healthy individuals 18 years of age and older.

Normal visitation allows for anyone to visit a patient at Samaritan Hospital from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., with the exception of the Intensive Care Unit, where visiting hours at from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Hospital officials are still encouraging ill visitors using Samaritan Pharmacy or outpatient services for testing to use a mask, available at the reception desk, registration podium in the main lobby and at the pharmacy counter.

Masks are also available in the emergency department and hand sanitizer is conveniently located throughout the entire hospital.
