Three Area Wrestlers Win State Titles

Three area wrestlers earned state titles at this weekend's OHSAA state wrestling finals in Columbus.  In Division I, at 145lbs, Ashland's Wyatt Music shut out Jake Ryan of Olentangy Liberty 8-0.

In Division II, Lexington's Josh Lehner won his second consecutive state title at 195lbs. by winning a 6-1 decision over Sandusky's Isaiah Margheim.

Also at 195lbs in Division III, Northmor's Tyler Beck won a state title by decision in overtime downing Dalton Ishmael of North Baltimore 8-6. 

Finishing as state runner-up in Division III at 285lbs. was Loudonville's Austin Cary who lost a 5-2 decision to Patrick Garren of Columbus Bishop Ready.
