Business Opportunities Forum Held At Kehoe Center

About 80 people attended a Business Opportunites Forum Monday morning at the North Central State College Kehoe Center in Shelby. The three-hour meeting was hosted by the Richland Community Development Group and State Representative Mark Romanchuk of Ontario. Representatives of business, schools, local government, social service agencies, and economic development came to hear presentations from five state offices. Romanchuk says there is a need among local leaders to know more about the services our state government offers. The participating state agencies were Development Services, E-P-A, Treasurer's office, Job and Family Services, and Rural Development Department; plus display tables for the Bureau of Workers Compensatuion, Attorney General's office, Small Business Administratuion, the Workforce Partnership, and the One-Stop Employment and Training Center. |
