If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. That old adage certainly applies to one of the most common scams today. Someone calls or sends a check in the mail, and says you've a big jackpot. The hitch is, you have to send them money for a processing fee. Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine says no legitimate sweepstakes or lottery expects prize winners to pay a fee to receive the jackpot. |
