The director of Richland County's Child Support Enforcement Agency is retiring, effective April 30.

Jerry Saunders met with the Richland County Commissioners on Tuesday.

Saunders has worked as director for the past two years and has served with the agency for 21-and-a-half years.

He says he's enjoyed his time there and working with the commissioners over the years.

Commissioner Gary Utt commended Saunders for working closely with the commissioners.

When asked his plans for his impending retirement, Saunders told the commissioners "family, fishing and fun in that order."
