Communities all over North Central Ohio expected massive snow falls Tuesday evening into Wednesday, with many local school districts cancelling classes or beginning on a delay. Although the impact wasn't as great as anticipated in the greater Mansfield area, with an estimated three inches of accumulation, some families still took advantage of what may be winter's last snow fall.

Sister's Mercedes and Talaya Hagy of Mansfield hit the slope near Park Avenue Medical Center in Middle Park with their parents Wednesday afternoon, even though they had planned on a different activity. Talaya says they wanted to go to a different park but it was closed when they got there, so they drove around looking for something to do until their mother suggested sledding at Middle Park.

It appeared to be an excellent change of plan as the sisters laughed and screamed as they rode down the slope on a variety of different sleds, both separately and together. Talaya says it was a fun, very fast hill to sled down and Mercedes says she had 100% fun sled riding with her family.
