South Carolina Man Wanted For Murder Arrested In Mansfield

A South Carolina man wanted for murder was arrested Wednesday evening in Mansfield.
 

Mansfield police found Stephon McLain Jr, 22, of Conway, SC, at 462 and 464 Sherman Place.
 

Police responded to a call around 6 p.m. about a fight at the duplex. When they arrived they found several people outside.  They ran inside, but McLain was locked out.

He was found to have a warrant charging him with murder.

Three other people were arrested on misdemeanor warrants.
 

Drugs including crack, heroin, extasy, and marijuana, four weapons, and cash were seized.

Conway, South Carolina police are on their way to Mansfield in anticipation of McLain either waiving extradition or a judge ordering he be returned.
