Mansfield Resident Robbed, Found Dead In Columbus

A Mansfield man was found dead with a fatal gunshot wound to the head Saturday at his apartment in Columbus.
 

Columbus Police said Robert Daley, 52, was found about 3:30 p.m. by his wife and three children inside his apartment at 6315 Sunderland Drive north of Rt. 161 and east of I-71. Authorities said Daley was shot once in the head.

Several items were stolen from Daley's apartment including a shotgun, a television, and cellphone.

Authorities said Daley's car was also stolen. Police are searching for a 2009 gray Toyota Camry with the license plate number FRA6017.

Authorities said Daley had the apartment in Columbus due to his job. His family still resides in Mansfield.
 

Authorities said Daley worked as a manager at a nearby KFC.
