A Crestline man was seriously injured when he wrecked his pickup truck Friday on Crestline Road, west of Olentangy Road in Crawford County.

The sheriff's office says Garrett Frye, 20, was drving east on Crestline Road, when the pickup traveled off the roadway into a ditch with his pickup striking a power pole.

He was pinned in and had to be freed using the Jaws of Life.

Frye was flown from the scene by medical helicopter to St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.

The accident remains under investigation.
