A musical tradition continued this past weekend at Malabar Intermediate School and Western Elementary School in Lexington as the Mansfield Symphony Youth Orchestra staged its annual Lollipop Concerts.

Under the direction of Ettore "Eddie" Chiudioni, the concerts are designed to appeal to children in pre-school through fifth grade.

More than 90 student-musicians make up the youth orchestra, representing 25 chools from a 55-mile radius of Mansfield.

They were joined by threee guest soloists.

The Lollipop Concerts are part of the Mechanics Bank Education Series.
