The Mansfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patol is advising motorists to slow down because of slippery road conditions.

The state patrol has received several reports of accidents throughout our area.

There are reports of scattered icy spots througout the area.

Motorists should remember to drive slow on bridges, overpasses and tunnels, use a safe speed for winter driving conditions regardless of the posted speed limit, and keep a safe stopping distance from the vehicle in front of you.

WMFD TV has a crew out covering some of the accidents. Stay with WMFD TV for the latest updates.
