The wife of the 179th Airlift Wing's commander has been nominated for a national award. Molly McCue is the Air National Guard nominee for the 2013 Joan Orr Air Force Spouse of the Year Award. McCue has a lenghty background in social work, and teaches social work at North-Central State College. She's also active with helping families cope with their loved one's overseas deployments. Colonel Gary McCue says he's proud of the support his wife provides. Molly McCue is one of three Air Force spouses being considered for the award. The other nominees are spouses of active duty and reserve members. The winner will be announced this summer. |
