Richland Newhope celebrates Developmental Disabilities Month with a show of ability.

The organization presented its 3rd annual "Bringing the Elements Together" Art and Talent Exhibition today at Richland Mall.  The show features the work of individuals supported by Richland Newhope.  Artwork on display included paintings, photography, pottery and jewelry. And there were plenty of live performances too.

The event helps showcase local talent.  Jane Imbody, Richland Newhope Director of Community Relations, says the exhibition shows that every individual, despite their disabilities, has abilities.

The annual art and talent show is one of several activities to mark Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.  The next event is Community Awareness Day next Thursday at Richland Newhope.
