A special presentation stole the show at the 10th Annual Soup Supper for the Harmony House homeless shelter at Ontario United Methodist Church.

As a winner in America's Farmers Grow Communities program sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, Sam Rietschlin of Shelby gave two donations of $2,500 each to the Harmony House and its director, Vicki Kane, couldn't be happier.

The Monsanto Fund is investing more than $5-million in rural America through the Farmers Grow Communities program, which includes double donations for counties suffering from the historic drought.

Kane says the support from the church and the Friends of Harmony House which provides the annual Soup Supper, normally means between $2,500 and $5,000 through that end of the fundraiser.
