Dayspring Assisted Living Center in Mansfield held its 23rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt this past weekend and to say it's become a community-wide event would be an understatement.

Dayspring Activities Director Amanda Stuart says the popular event has grown leaps and bounds since its inception, thanks to the Dayspring residents, their families and the employees.

Stuart says planning for the big event takes place well before the kids start hunting for the thousands of eggs located on the Dayspring grounds.

Stuart says she also hopes community members will show their support for Dayspring and its residents by voting yes on its levy on May 7.
