AU Ladies Return Home

After winning the Division II national championship in women's basketball, the Ashland University Eagles returned home to a big welcome by some 300 fans.  For AU, five seniors went out big winners guard Kaci Finfrock, guard Lindsay Tenyak, forward and 1,000 point scorer Daiva Gerbec, guard/forward Beth Mantkowski and 1,000 point scorer Kari Daugherty.

Over the last two seasons, the Eagles have compiled a record of 70-3, winning back-to-back GLIAC regular season and tournament championships, back-to-back regional championships and playing in two consecutive national championship games finishing as runner-up in 2012 and as champion in 2013.
