Warriors Look Towards NCC Tennis Title

After a 15-3 finish in 2012 and a runner-up finish in the North Central Conference, the Ontario tennis team under coach Tom Pawsey hopes they can take the next step up and win their league.  Of the 12 man squad, Pawsey welcomes back nearly everyone.  Some of the most notables are Seth and Jacob Byrd, Tyler Wilson, Ty Garcione and Brandon Wagner who finished 2012 undefeated during the regular season at 18-0. 

Pawsey says to be considered a one of the league favorites and one of the up and coming teams in the area says alot about his players who have put in alot of hours during the off season playing tennis indoors.  Pawsey adds that it says even more when you consider Ontario did not even have a team three years ago.  The coach also feels the Warriors toughest competition in conference will come from Bucyrus and last season's team champion Upper Sandusky.
