City Of Mansfield Has New Fire Chief

Assistant Mansfield Fire Chief Steven Strickling has accepted the position of Fire Chief for the City of Mansfield.
  
Strickling was hired as a Mansfield Firefighter on June 17, 1991, and was promoted to Captain on March 19, 1997 and was promoted to Assistant Chief on March 24, 2005.  He was named Acting Fire Chief on February 8, 2013 after John Harsch retired.

A swearing in ceremony for Assistant Chief Strickling will be held Tuesday, April 16, at 11 a.m. in the 9th floor conference room.
