Despite eight errors in the field, the Ashland Arrows baseball squad was able to win ugly on Tuesday evening edging Wooster 4-2.  Arrows pitcher Tyson Vogel threw six innings striking out eight to get the win while Austin Bouquet picked up the save in the top of the seventh. 

Vogel did get support at the plate with Garrett McQuate going going two-for-three with two runs scored and Nick Zurcher who batted three-for-three driving in two rbi's.  The loss drops the Generals to 4-1 on the season 1-1 in the Ohio Cardinal Conference, while the Arrows go to 4-2 in all games, 3-0 in the OCC. 

Early on, Ashland stands in a first place tie with Lexington who is 6-1 overall and also 3-0 in conference play after a 9-3 win at West Holmes on Tuesday night.
