The opening of Rock Road could be delayed due to a water leak under the road.

Ontario Mayor Larry Collins said he found out Thursday there was a water leak under the roadway. Collins said the leak was accessed and determined it could be addressed. Collins said weather permitting the road could still open today or the beginning of next week.

Mayor Collins sent out letter Wednesday to neighbors announcing the road would open today.

The road has been closed from Oakstone Drive to Park Ave. West since July 2011 when a truck hit the Rock Road Bridge.
