Hard Hat Gala Held For Habitat For Humanity

  Richland County Habitat for Humanity hosted its Fourth Annual Hard Hat Gala this past weekend at the Mansfield Art Center.

  Habitat For Humanity Executive Director Veronna Drane says the annual fundraiser also kicks off the agency's construction season.

  Drane says Habitat has recieved a $10,000 grant from the State Farm Insurance Foundation to begin a home repair program.

  Drane says she's also hopeful the organization can begin a new construction on a home this year.

  And, she says they'll be opening up a new Habitat ReStore Discount Home Improvement Center in space shared with the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging at Hawkins Corner at 2131 Park Avenue West in Ontario.
