Arrest Made In Speedway Gas Station Robbery

  Original Published: 4/23/2013A suspect has been arrested for the April 15 robbery of the Speedway Gas Station at 1394 Ashland Rd.According to the Richland County Sheriff's Office Justin Birchell, 22, was arrested Monday at 11:10 p.m. in the area of 2200 Cotter Rd. in Mansfield on a aggravated robbery warrant. Authorities say the suspect entered the gas station around 2:30 a.m. armed with a box cutter and ordered the clerk to give him money from the cash register.  He fled with $192. The case remains under investigation.
