Finishing Touches Being Made On One World Trade Center

  Original Published: 4/29/2013Construction crews are getting ready to put the finishign touches on the One World Trade Center building.    Workers will install the final two sections of a 408-foot spire Monday morning, making it the tallest building in the western hemisphere.    A stainless steel beacon will be the last piece put in place.    It will give One World Trade Center the iconic height of 1,776 feet.    Of course, 1776 is the year the United States declared independence from Britain.
