Members of the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce are getting to know the new Congressman for the southern half of Richland County.

Chamber President Kevin Nestor says Republican Pat Tiberi has represented the newly-drawn twelfth district for four months, and forty members attending Tuesday's luncheon wanted to know his take on what's happening in Washington.

Topics of discussion included the federal budget, the national debt and deficit, and the tax policy has if affects small businesses and individuals.

Tiberi is deeply involved in tax reform as a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, and as chairman of the Subcommitee on Select Revenue Measures, and says he wanted to hear from small business owners.

He painted a bleak picture of sky-rocketing spending and a ballooning national debt.
