Original Published: 5/5/2013  What once was the Spring Flower Festival has blossomed into Garden Discovery Day held over the weekend at Kingwood Center in Mansfield.   Kingwood Center Visitors Services Manager Chris Roddy says the re-focused event centered on garden-related products and the upcoming growing season.   Roddy says a broad range of vendors were in site selling their plants and other products, as well as given short demonstrations.   "Pumpkin Grow for the Pumpkin Glow" kits also were available for two-dollars each, so children can grow their pumpkins at home and bring them to Kingwood Center in the fall for the annual Pumpkin Glow.
