Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month Kicks Off With Ride

  In honor of May being “Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month," the Richland County Safe Communities Coalition joined with Boomer’s Powersports at 539 Park Ave. East in Mansfield to sponsor a weekend ride.   Health Educator Reed Richmond with the Mansfield, Ontario, Richland County Health Department, says bikers gathered for a “Blessing of the Bikes,” by the Mansfield Chapter of Road Riders for Jesus, followed by a road ride.   Richmond says it's important for bikers to make every safety precaution as well.   More than 200 motorcyclists were expected to enjoy the road ride which was followed by a hot dog cookout for all the participants.
